Commercial stone chip repairs 

Stone chips are common and result from the general wear and tear of driving. Although they may initially seem small and inconsequential, they worsen the longer you leave them, especially in adverse weather conditions. That’s why it’s crucial to get them repaired as soon as possible, as they can develop into a health and safety hazard that may require more costly solutions. • In the first instance, we always work to repair your windscreen rather than replace it.
  
  Our technician will carefully examine the chip to evaluate whether a repair is possible. The maximum size that can be restored is about the size of a £2 coin, but it also depends on where the chip is located, for instance, in the direct line of sight.
   
• For repairs, we use resin injection for the most efficient results.
  
  If the chip can be repaired, the technician will inject an acrylic resin, optically matched to your windscreen glass, into the damaged area. This is then cured using UV light.
   
• Final checks, then you're on your way.
  
  The resulting repaired area will be as strong and clear as the original glass; you won’t be able to tell the difference.
